Winter Drawing Competition: My Favourite Animal

Time for our winter drawing challenge! This one is simple: draw your favourite animal doing its favourite thing. A penguin belly-sliding, a dog chasing its tail, a dragon hoarding gold — if you can imagine it, you can draw it.

The brief

• One drawing per artist, on a single A4 page.
• Any medium you like: pencils, textas, crayons, paint, or a mix.
• Give your drawing a title and sign your name in a corner.

How entries are judged

We’re not looking for the neatest drawing. We’re looking for:

1. Imagination — did you make it yours?
2. Effort — did you fill the page and take your time?
3. Story — does the drawing tell us something about the animal?

Prizes

Every entry goes up on the fridge gallery. Winners in each age group pick the next family movie night film — choose wisely.
